Happy Monday sweet friends!
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.
Things on the shop have kind of slowed down a bit, but I have been working on building a lot of the exterior items like the barn doors and the metal awnings, I'm also working on a sign right now too.
So I decided to write up a little post about my new cushion I got from Ballard Designs.
A few weeks ago I changed out some of my chairs and decided to incorporate a bench I had on hand that I kept upstairs. I decided to add a cushion and found the only one that would fit is the one from Ballard. I really would have loved to have gotten the bench from Ballard,
but I decided to be practical and use the one I had.
I had to take the bench apart and saw the legs down by 2" cause the cushion made it way too tall.
I love the pattern of the ticking stripe and how much character it adds to my dining room.
I have really been obsessed with these cushions for a good while now.
I contemplated making my own but really just dreaded the thought of even attempting it.
When I found the one on Ballard, I knew it was the perfect option and
the price point wasn't too bad, I mean not perfect but you know how that goes.
I really love the bench with my table now and love the authentic farmhouse vibe it lends.
It's crazy how one little change can add so much to overall feel.
My kitchen and dining room are darn near complete and I am so happy with how it has turned out. I need muster up some energy and finish my bathroom. I also have an accent wall that needs some attention as well. I think I will try to finish up some of these projects while I'm waiting
to clear some stuff out of the shop.
I'm so excited, I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I keep telling myself it will all be worth it.
In every aspect.
Thanks for stopping by!
