I painted my kitchen cabinets... again...

Hey Everyone! It's been a while since I have posted,
but I wanted to update you with what I have been doing...
There for a while all projects ceased. But I'm starting to get into a routine with the baby and I am able to start back on a few things. Plus my mom comes over when I need her too,
let's just be real here...

One project that I really contemplated on tackling was the repainting of my lower cabinets. I painted them last year when I redid my countertops. I painted them a Blue Kiss by Valspar.
And I really like it for a while,
but my countertops were more creamy then white and after a while, it started to bug me.

So I decided to redo them. I always wanted to do a two toned kitchen, but feared it was too trendy.. but years later he we are and I think it's safe to say it's a classic move.
So I decided to pull the trigger and get out my paint brush.
I ended up going with a color that I custom mixed that was close to my island color.
My island is Valspar Frappe. I custom mixed Valspar Smoked Oyster and SW Sohji White.
It turned out a beautiful greige color.
You might also notice, that I painted my brick range. When I think about the perfect kitchen that I would design right now... It does not have brick... at all... but since I don't have that time or money for a gut job, I'm working with what I have and that means painting it all white.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think my kitchen is ugly by any means I don't want to sound ungrateful, it's just not exactly my style and not what I would have built, had we built this house ourselves.
I also ordered new hardware. I just go the knobs in, and the pulls are coming next week, but I couldn't wait to show you!
I love them and I really think they are going to modernize the kitchen in a glam way...
I can't wait to see them on the lowers.
I also ordered new lights, but they require a DIY makeover... so I'm working on that currently...
I can't wait to show you all!
